Sunday April 11, 2010 we will be meeting our friends from 2WheelsRocken.com for a day of riding, dining and remembering our fallen warriors of the street.

Please join us at any point in the day.

10AM - Breakfast at THE SMOKEHOUSE GRILL

Smokehouse Grill and Buffet
www.smokehousegrillandbuffetky.com
359 Old Peggy Flats Road
Berea, KY 40403
(859) 986-0830

**The Smokehouse Grill is owned by Nick's Aunt and Uncle Patty and Terry Cheeks.  They have invited us to use their restaurant as our meeting place.**

11AM - KICKSTAND UP

**NOTE:  The Ride is being planned by Randy, Smitty and Robert.  I know we are planning a stop by Nick's Church for a "Blessing of the Bikes" ceremony and a stop to Nick's grave site in McKee.  I will post these places and times when they are lined out.

3PM - RECONVENE @ SMOKEHOUSE

***I realize the day is planned around Nick. The day is to remember them both.  Kelso is buried in Asheville, NC and most of his family resides there.  I will invite his family also.  ***

I hope to see you all there.

Let us remember Nick today as it was a year ago yesterday that we lost his companionship. Watch over us this year, my friend.

I stopped to visit Nick today and his grave is full of TLC: No weeds and only fresh flowers.

BTW, the cemetery is outside Berea, not in McKee.
Map link
After entering the graveyard, the site is to the left, down the hill, just before the flat drops off, overlooking the lake.

Stu, thanks for the map.  I had no idea how to get back there...I just knew we rode a long ways...and I thought I was in McKee.  Randy and a few of his family have offered to show me how to get there again...not sure I was up to it...but on the 11th I'll be there.

Thanks for the reminder post.  Wow.  A year ago.

To make matters worse, this means in about 28 days it will be the 1 year for Kelso.

Just checked out the map...sounds easy.  (And I see why I was confused...it's off McKee Road. Whops)

Let's all try to make this!

The more people we get to attended, the more BK and NC will be remembered.   afro
